Fred is right. Richards needed 5.2 innings in his start last Friday. He came up 6 outs short. Woulda been a nice card.

I picked up Hazelbaker in the 23rd round of a 2017 pre-card draft. Keeping my fingers crossed that he'll be included in the unleashed set

If that homer-happy Jarrett Parker card of 2015 made the unleashed set with less PA's than this years Hazelbaker then I don't see why Hazelbaker shouldn't have an unleashed card. That Parker card was a precedent setter in my mind. It really opened the door.

Well, that is indeed a disappointment for me and others-- You are right. It would have been a good card. Now to keep him in a keeper league???

How about Lucas Giolito. WHIP of .95 with a 2.38 ERA. 45 IP with 7 starts so he'll get a card. Which set though?

The most comparable SP in past regular sets I could find is Jose Fernandez who pitched 52 innings in 2014. .95/2.44. $8.53

Josh Johnson was in the regular set in 2011 with a WHIP of .98 and an ERA of 1.64. $9.21. 60 innings though.

Close call.

I think he compares more with Alex Reyes. Both are new MLB plitchers with roughly the same amount of innings in their inaugural seasons. Reyes had five starts compared to seven for Giolito but finished with 46 IP in 2016. And Reyes had a much higher WHIP than Giolito and still was unleashed. So I definitely see Giolito in the unleashed set.

Any thoughts on rookie Jesse Winker (121 at bats, .901 ops) or vet Adam Eaton (91 at bats, .854 ops)? Regular set or unleashed?

I would think Winkler makes the regular set. Whichever set Eaton makes he'll have 6 injury rating
