First Team in A.T.&T.

PostThu Mar 27, 2014 3:54 pm

One of the first times I have ever had the first pick in the free agent waiver claim. Any suggestions where I should look to go. My park being A.T.&T. and the other three in my division are Miller, GABP, and Safeco. Trout, Cabrerra, McCutchen, Tulo, and Davis are still available.

My first time playing in A.T.&T. Any advice would be appreciated.

Well here's my AT&T team if it helps any. I was offered Scherzer in a trade during waivers and took him. My team is very small ball, runs are hard to come by, but I'm doing ok so far.

My comments on your team
1) too much money in RP. You should need just 1 high price R2 guy and a better closer (Balfour gives up too many HRs)
2) In my opinion you got the best low cost value in the set with Amarista.
3) Van Slyke is wrong for AT&T.
4) You need much better Defense at SS. If Galvis is available get him. Another bargain value guy.

i currently am using sierra as my dh in safeco (pitchers park).

after 71 games he has 38 doubles, 273/381 playing only vs rhp

great small ball player 1 thru 4 in your order

I agree on Sierra. I tried to use him full time, and he just isn't good enough vs lefties. but great pitchers park hitter vs rightes!

I agree with the above posters.

Way too much $ spent in the pen.

Disagree on Balfour. He's perfect for your park. Those BPHR's are outs. You play 81 games @ AT&T.

You don't have enough OB. Davis is a monster vs. RH's but who's getting on base for him?

Your best OB guys, are Walker and Jaso, which is OK, but when they go down you're screwed.

Who is left filtered by OB?

Went ahead and took your advice and picked back up Balfour. The ob% players available:

Mauer
Goldschmidt
Tulowitzki
Holiday
Satin
Butler
Ramiriez
Gonzalez
Stanton
Fielder
Sanchez
Belt

Those are the top
