When considering a trade or a waiver acquisition, does the trade or waiver acquisition wipe out the injury games that the player is on?
Injuries...

Injuries stay with the player - trading or picking players off of waivers doesn't wipe out any existing injuries.

It does however let a SP come right in and pitch even if he pitched the last game the night before if he is not injured. Not really the answer to your question but something to know when trading or picking up Starting Pitchers.
