Who is Pete Duncan.

So in the recent Negro League set Strat introduced a player named Pete Duncan

I can’t figure out who this player is.
According to the card he played for Chicago in 1916. I’m thinking that should be the Chicago American Giants as they were the champions that year. However their roster doesn’t list a Pete Duncan

I checked the other two Chicago teams the Union and the Giants and neither of them has a Pete Duncan either

There is a Frank Duncan listed however he already has a card in SOM not to mention plays a different position.
I’ve also checked Baseball reference and even Wikipedia and find no mention of Pete Duncan.

Now sometimes Strat uses a name that is different than what everyone else uses for some reason but typically I can figure out whom they are referring to On this one I have no clue. Anyone got any ideas.

I see that on sea heads now. But really. Why on earth would he be listed as Pete here when nobody calls him that. He’s listed as Frank everywhere. And yes I get the confusion as there are two but Rebel would have been so much better.

(And I’m not even getting into SOM listing the incorrect seasons for players like William Buck Ewing who wasn’t on the 1931 Grays, but was on the 1930 version of the team, Nor am I complaining about using Oscar Charlestons two worst seasons (well two of the three seasons he didn’t hit .300) instead of one of thr 1925-29 seasons. I’m just complaining about how they seem to be hiding who they are actually using here. Without reason)
