1. 2021 Brandon Lowe TB 2b left-handed hitting second basemen with 39 HRs. Eight ballpark homerun chances on each side of card. Only one other lefty batting 2B in MLB history with 39 HRs (Cano). Huge add for the offensively challenged Rays. Great fit for Tropicana Field 1999. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/94319/2021/1/2021
2. 1986 Don Sutton , Angels card. A relatively cheap backward card that would play well in lefty or small ball parks. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/41788/1986/1/101
3. 2021 Vlad Guerrrero JR .311/.401/.601 48 hrs https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/94251/2021/1/2021
4. 1972 Carlos May CWS helped Dick Allen put Sox in the hunt and a nice upgrade over current 1970 card .308/.405/.843 https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/73 ... 70/1/70OPS
5. 1882 Joe Start PRO 1B. Start was 4 years old when baseball was invented and 16 when he began playing as an amateur before the Civil War. By the time the NL debuted in 1876 he was already 33. Yet despite the constantly changing rules and equipment that characterized the sport's earliest years, Start was productive for the duration of his 28-year career, with an OPS+ of 121 as a professional. 1882, his age 39 year, is his best eligible season: .329/.342/.407 for a 142 OPS+.
6. 1990 Cal Ripken bal ss set all time record for fewest errors by a SS. over 20 doubles and 20 HR's. also bullet proof as in 0 injury. think he would be a 2/0 at SS. make a great addition to the set and he deserves having not only his but baseball's all-time career SS fielding year in the set.
7. 2018 Adam Ottavino COL RP - 2.43 ERA/.99 WHIP. 112 Ks in 78 IP.

9. 2021 Salvasor Perez, KC Catcher. Lead league with 48 HR and 121 RBI. All-Star, 7th in MVP voting. And Royals need Bats! https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/91618/2021/1/2021
10. 2021 Bryce Harper PHI RF 35 HR .309/.429/.615. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/91587/2021/1/2021

I know it's been a while, so likely everyone has forgotten, but Alex Johnson was elected in the 22.3 poll, which concluded 103 days ago on August 22, 2022. He needs to be removed from the current ballot.

Thanks Bernie, I had indeed forgotten about that. I'm going to blame Andy though because his list of outfield improvements isn't updated.

Sweeney seems correctly assigned to the team/league he ended the year with. However he actually pitched better in the NL than in the much weaker UA, meaning his card isn't really a case of running up the score against weak competition, unlike basically every other good UA card. Anyway, great to see nominees from the 19th century as it's by far the most underrepresented era in ATG, but fully support keeping UA cards out, the league should never have been declared a major to begin with.

Yeah, sorry about the UA pitcher. Delivery Boy just looks up oddball stats, or anything out of the usual to make the game more fun. Even funny names like Johnny Watwood, Polly McLarry, Woody Wagenhorst, Jim Tyng, Pussy Tebeau, Count Difenhoffer or whatever the heck his name was...and everyone's favorite, Chicken Wolf! Gives us something to do while we wait all week for Sunday's football games...

Thanks for the nomination,,,
Sincerely,
Delivery Boy...
