Of the 50 choices we vote for, how many will be submitted to Strat-O-Matic for inclusion in the roster of available player cards? 15? 25?

The top 25 get in.

I guess managers who play in team theme leagues must really like the combination of...
Jose Vidro
Danny Espinosa
Ron Hunt
and Rodney Scott
for the Montreal Expos.
Lansing is a 1 defensively with .472 SLG.
How / why does he have only 14 votes?

The card viewer has Lansing as a 2e11 in 1997, but he would still be a nice addition for the Expos at second base.

A few things to consider and to inform our votes as we move into the weekend:
2019 Austin Meadows is going to be added by a Barnstormers Finalist; in other words, he will be added whether we vote him in or not (save your votes).
2019 Juan Soto was a holdover from earlier balloting. When 2021 seasons move into the eligible column, his 2021 destroys this 2019 card. It's still a good card, but 2021 will make the Soto aficionados much happier. Nominate that card when available.
1964 Curt Simmons. My friend Thomas nominated Simmons, looking for a strong Cardinals card to honor Simmons' work with the early 60's Redbirds. His 1963 card is much stronger; my humble suggestion is to get 1963 nominated and voted in.

Can we not have the option to vote on Barnstormer's picks for our next voting?
I don't see any reason to vote on them if they're going to added anyway.
Put those wasted votes into Mike Lansing.

Either way, he would help the Expos.

I don't see why we shouldn't vote for Soto just because we know 2021 is a better card. Right now we have other nominations that are of players that already have better cards in ATG. I won't name them because it is unfair to try to discourage people from voting for their nominations. I use cheaper versions of players with expensive cards. That Soto could be useful in 60-100 million leagues so I don't see why we shouldn't want that card.
