GREAT point Andy.

"Players like Smalley and Pecota KC are clearly not as worthy as the big boys but more cheaper cards are needed for smaller cap leagues (60,80) to give owners more options especially in franchise leagues"

While I agree with your statement, voting in players because of sentimental reasons and then these guys NEVER get used is pointless. The '79 Smalley makes much more sense. (2 defensively and he played in 162 games)

The Smalley card that was voted on was never going to see the light of day.

If you want some lower tier players, do the research.

(Sorry if my opinion offends some)

Wondering if there is any desire to vote out any cards from ATG?

There are a number of players with 3+ cards that aren't particulary dissimilar from each other.

please, no removals - if extra cards interfere with searches, please, let's think about enhancing search functionality, not removing cards

for some of us (me anyway) the more players the better

Not even on the radar. Strat has limited resources and I don't believe they should be wasted on removing cards from ATG.

In general, we need more 1950s cards nominated and voted in. Without a mystery set from SOM, you can't even do a unique 1950s league because there are not enough cards to be added a set.

Sure you could do one within the league rules, but I find it better to police the special restrictions by creating a new card set, than having to be commissioner it every night.

So let's get some more 50s cards in there.

Virdon needs a better card, was Pirates CF from 1956-1965. Not a bad line vs RHP, and good D.

RH--2b- 3 3b-0 HR-6.9 BB-18 .326/.445/.593 OPS-1.038
1953 card is a good platoon option vs RHP.
1952 card is his best, most balanced card.

1954 Don Mueller NYG Bats-L BAL-1R RF-3(-2)e6 INJ Risk-3
LH--2b- 1.6 3b-0.0 HR-1.1 BB-0 .414/.419/.458 OPS-.878
RH--2b- 8.8 3b-2.0 HR-0.5 BB-0 .427/.432/.559 OPS-.991

Best card for Smith, check out his OBP, and he is Bulletproof.
