can we add a thread for these? maybe one each for bench warmers and pitchers?

I would feel awkward nominating Takeoff Tony Campana in a thread full of Otani and Trout nominations

Great idea. Are there any parameters as to AB’s etc?

From Bill's earlier announcement, there is a large contingent of card adds coming from Strat specifically to address the lack of subs issue for Expansion Sets.

my perspective was a little different - that we have a thread similar to those for the other 'positions'

and admittedly, the pricing would be a guess to some extent in many (even most) cases

but we all have our exopectations of what players are in the category

Lou Marone's (Pirates lefty rp) nomination got moved to spam (but there did seem to be some tangential discussion

anyway:
long multiteam careers

Larry Biitner 14 seasins no card 3 platoon seasons over .290 poor man's Buckner or Grace

Cubs:
Tony Campana 60 of 75 stealing as a Cub almost as good overall for 4-5 yrs, W power lefty about .260 in 2 120 PA seasons with Cubs
probably a 4(+2) in left, but could be fun as a PR or in low cap

Pirates et al 7-8 teams 19 yrs no card (!?!)
Dick Schofield 3 'starter' seasons in the .230s

Yanks:
Phil Linz '62-5 a pauper's Gil McDougald

Jake Gibbs '62-'71 Yankees cheap backup catcher for a team with more than it's share of expensive all-star level catchers
and bats righty

Steve Whitaker '66-7 (also a '69 Seattle Pilot) lefty ph/dh and all position of

Andy Kosco '65-74 8 teams rh 1b-corner of .240s, N power

Jerry Kenney lh - poor man's Wayne Garrett 6 years 2 as starter

Elliott Maddox rh good rh def replacement of no card

Jim Mason 9 yrs, ss,3b lhh

Bob Meacham sh ss 'poor man's Gene Nichael

to be continued
