Strat-O-Matic Baseball 365

If you have ZERO expectations of Strat, you won't get upset when they miss their "goals".

Been trying to practice this concept in all aspects of my life.

It's hard, but I've come to expect NOTHING from Strat. So, when the cards drop it, it's like X-Mas morning.
When they don't over a period of time, I shake my head, and don't get upset, since I expected nothing.

Interestingly, I've been reading a book in which the latest chapter includes this tidbit: "There is no surer way to guarantee unhappiness then having expectations of others".

I like the list of cheap adds! Will make the 2000- present teams in the time framed leagues much more competitive having cheap bench options. 2 that stuck out to me Livan Hernandez gets his first card I believe, and the Mets added super Joe! Can’t wait for them to be added

I have had a lot of cards added over the years -
my absolute fave, though he doesn't usually fit my team concept, is the '63 Ellsworth, who has 2 NoNos fro me, one in a $100+ cap league, and I do get some mileage out of the cheaper 8L card

and am waiting for the starter-quality Big George Altman in the next drop (so I am trying to practice patience)

if I can get the Kosuke Fukudome who can play cf and the SwH 3b Steve Ontiveros that hit .299 (when I asked by name a few years ago, the younger pitcher got added instead) I will try to be satisfied and, if i do nominate, it will be players that hopefully will add flavor to the card set.



still, one does wonder about the business process that does not support quicker turnaround. out of curiosity more than irritation, I promise

What a cool add, lots of generous prices this time around especially for the bench guys and relievers.

Still would like to see Dusty Bakers 1973 card in the set
