I wonder if the community would be more patient if the process was better understood mechanically?
What I am getting at is - what are the time sinks or lagoons or whatever term we would like to use to refer to the processes whose execution consumes the time between election and 'distribution'.
Where I am coming from - at some level, isn't virtually every season represented in some previously published (for the card and computer game(s)) set of cards? (notable exceptions being the pre-1901 and Negro League teams/players.
And
at this point in Strat history, isn't there a well-oiled, let's say, 'mechanical' process that 'automatically' creates an SOMOL 'image' of any player from the source used to publish the cards and computer 'cards'?
and if there is not an automated process, is SOM capable of implementing one?
jmo, but if there is no such process existent , I could wait for, say 22.1 (and there is a card I REALLY want in 22.1) until such a process was implemented.
