22. 1945 Nels Potter SLB SP* - 2.47 Era/ 1.09 Whip plus a .304 batting average to boot! NO CARD - 12 season career: 41; 3%

23. 1962 Clete Boyer NYY 3b How about a little more usable card for the early 60's Yankee teams - 158 games played (less injury risk presumably than his only 1961 card) 18 HR, .272 average, best overall hitting year of a 16 year career. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/31175/1660/1/60: 37; 3%

24. 1936 Frank Crosetti NYY SS. He was a key player on the 1930s & 40s Yankee juggernauts and deserves to be represented by his best offensive card. In 1936, Crosetti hit .288 with 90 walks and 12 HBP, leading to OBP of .387 and 137 runs scored. Frankie's two current cards are both weak offensively. This would be a well deserved upgrade.: 36; 3%

25.1962 Ernie Banks - We have FOUR SS cards and ZERO 1B cards - Considering he played more games at 1B than SS in his career, even if it isn't a fantastic card we should still have one - Hit 37 HR's, 104 RBI's and had a solid .993 fielding %. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/30476/1660/1/60: 18; 1%

26. 1990 Cal Ripken BAL SS record for fewest errors ever in a season, 3. always use a defensive SS. Ripken had 53 extra base hits and a .341 OBP so he wasn't totally lame at the plate: 17; 1%

32. 1976 Vida Blue, OAK, Throws-L, 2L Balance, 18-13, 2.35 ERA, would be his second-best card just behind the 1971 7R card--more balanced towards LH Batters: 39; 3%

Sure fire HOF career derailed by knee injuries that turned him into DH. Only player in MLB history to win the batting title in his first 2 seasons. All Star RFer his first 8 seasons before knee injury, winning 3 batting titles, finished second once, third 3 times and eighth once. Mauls RHP. 48. 1998 Scott Rolen PHI 3B. - Won a gold glove and hit 31 homeruns in just his second season in the league. .290/.391/.532. 711 Plate appearances and a competent base stealer racking up 14 this season. Currently Mike Schmidt is the only Phillies exp era 3b with a card. Some Variety perhaps?: 36; 3%

This might be the best approach going forward. They are always a bit finicky when included on the ballot.
