1. 2019 Pete Alonso NYM 1b 53 homers (all-time rookie record) 130 rbi ROY All-Star MVP-7 .260/.358/.583/.941 Nice RH option at 1b for the Mets in franchise leagues. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/94450/2019/1/2019
2. 2004 Cesar Izturis SS LAN - 670 AB's, 1e10 .288 .330 .381 25/9 stealing. Would be a good cheap SS option, similar to Bowa (who EVERYONE uses) https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/555/1700/1/120 BUT a 1e10 with 1-17 Speed.
3. 1990 Dave Magadan NYM Bats-L BAL-5R 3b-4e12,1b-3e3 INJ Risk-15
LH--2b- 2.7 3b-2 HR-0 BB-13 .254/.351/.324 OPS-.675
RH--2b- 9.1 3b-2 HR-0.5 BB-23 .488/.602/.660 OPS-1.261
Mets singles hitter, that line vs RHP is very good, can play 1b or 3b. 22 possible ways to get on base versus Right handed pitching, good platoon card.
4. 1901 Jimmy Sheckard BRO Led League in Slugging and Triples. 944 OPS is a 170 point OPS improvement over his two current cards. 17 year career with over 2000 hits deserves a good card
5. 1910 Sherry Magee Phil NL LF/1B Better than his 1911 card; 650 PA, 123RBI, .331 BA, .445 OBP, .507 SLG
6. 1879 Paul Hines PRO cf-1(-1) .357/.369/.482 Hines hit .302 over a 20-year career but currently has no ATG card
7. 2011 Cliff Lee PHI P - Was considered one of the best pitchers in baseball during his time as a Philly and should have representation. 2.40ERA/1.03WHIP. As a bonus he uses batting card 7 and is an A bunter. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/90311/2011/1/3011 https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/90311/2011/1/2011

10. 1905 "Silent John" Titus RF PHN - LH, .308/.397/.436 153 ops+, best year in an 11-year career (ten of which had ops+ btwn 120 and 153), 36 doubles, 14 triples, 24 RF assists (one of seven years over 20 assists, 9th all-time in RF assists), teammate of Sherry Magee (see above), no card
11. 1908 Harry Howell SLB Throws-R BAL-E END-S9*/R5 1.89 ERA 1.07 WHIP no card
12. 1969 Mack Jones MON LF Bats-L Career-high .270 BA, .379 OBP, .488 SLG, 867 OPS, 22 HR & 79 RBI. Darling of the first-year Montreal Expo fans, the left-field bleachers in Jarry Park were nicknamed "Jonesville." He hit the very first HR in a Major League regular season game in Canada and was a major part of making baseball in Montreal a success. 10-year veteran currently has no ATG card, and deserves one.
13. 2015 AJ Pollock ARZ CF 1e3(-1) NO Card https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/91620/2015/1/2015
14. 2016 Jean Segura .319/.368/.499/.867 3R 2B-1 E6 https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/91626/2016/1/2016
15. 1907 Carl Lundgren CHC RH SP/RP(?) 1.17 ERA. 1.072 WHIP, 5.7 H9, 0 HRs allowed. Huge upgrade to current card
16. 2002 Jason Giambi NYY - The Giambino. Great Yankee 1B for 7 seasons, should be represented. 5th in MVP that year. 7.1 WAR only behind Arod and Thome in AL. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/408/1700/1/120
17. 1973 Wayne Twitchell PHI RHP 2.50 ERA, 13-9 record, 10 years in the majors with no card. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/742259/1670/1/70
18. 1993 Pete Imcaviglia. PHI. Inky. Great college player. Lots of Ks. Good power. Career best OPS, including .904 vs. LHP, with a .586 slugging %. No slouch against righties, either. Batted .270 vs. both LHs and RHs. Good power option in a platoon. Never a good fielder, but that isn’t why you’d draft him. No card (yet!).https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/35787/1690/1/90
19. 2003 Geoff Jenkins MIL Bats-L BAL-4R LF-2(-2)e0 INJ Risk-15(2 Rating)LH--2b- 5.15 3b-0 HR-2.15 BB-3 .280/.320/.394 OPS-.714RH--2b- 8.7 3b-0.3 HR-8 BB-12 .328/.421/.686 OPS-1.107 https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/562/1700/1/120
20. 1884 Jim Whitney Pitcher BSN NL-- WHIP: 0.89 K- 275 ERA 2.09 IP 336 (would love to know what this card looks like)
21. 1920 Pete Alexander CUBS RHP,Led NL in W,s ERA, and K,s. 27-14 1.91 173 K,s 1.11 WHIP. Good addition to Cubs as Pete had many good years with the Cubs
22. 1945 Nels Potter SLB SP* - 2.47 Era/ 1.09 Whip plus a .304 batting average to boot! NO CARD - 12 season career
23. 1962 Clete Boyer NYY 3b How about a little more usable card for the early 60's Yankee teams - 158 games played (less injury risk presumably than his only 1961 card) 18 HR, .272 average, best overall hitting year of a 16 year career. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/31175/1660/1/60
24. 1936 Frank Crosetti NYY SS. He was a key player on the 1930s & 40s Yankee juggernauts and deserves to be represented by his best offensive card. In 1936, Crosetti hit .288 with 90 walks and 12 HBP, leading to OBP of .387 and 137 runs scored. Frankie's two current cards are both weak offensively. This would be a well deserved upgrade.
25.1962 Ernie Banks - We have FOUR SS cards and ZERO 1B cards - Considering he played more games at 1B than SS in his career, even if it isn't a fantastic card we should still have one - Hit 37 HR's, 104 RBI's and had a solid .993 fielding %. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/30476/1660/1/60
26. 1990 Cal Ripken BAL SS record for fewest errors ever in a season, 3. always use a defensive SS. Ripken had 53 extra base hits and a .341 OBP so he wasn't totally lame at the plate
27. 2007 Ichiro Suzuki - Centerfield 1e1 (-5) - Ichiro's only card where he's a pure centerfielder. Negative 5 arm and only one error. As per usual, he hits .350+ and steals bases https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/1116/2007/1/2007
28. 1961 or 1962 George Altman- his 2 cards in the set are not really representative of his talent. He was an all star both of these years, and he was a NeL player for a few months in the 50's. I will defer to Andy on which card to list as he will certainly be a platoon player and whichever card is better against righties should be the Year voted on. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/30176/1660/1/60
29. 1898 Jimmy Collins .328 .377 .479 Led the league in HR's with 15. Great glove and speed, played in every game his team played that year with 657 plate appearances. Should be bulletproof, but with SOM's vaunted ability to screw that up, who knows? Nice to have a HOF 3bman who is not a 15 game injury at any rate.
30. 1996 Dean Palmer. 38 HR/ 107 RBI's, .280/.348/ .527, 2L https://onlinegames.strat-o-matic.com/p ... /1690/1/90
31. 1952 Larry Doby, CLE, Bats-L, BAL-E, CF-1(-2)e7, Led League in Runs, HR, and Slugging. Best Offensive Card where Doby is still a 1 defensively. Important baseball hero....
32. 1976 Vida Blue, OAK, Throws-L, 2L Balance, 18-13, 2.35 ERA, would be his second-best card just behind the 1971 7R card--more balanced towards LH Batters
33. 2019 Rafael Devers, BOS, Bats-L, 4R Balance, 3b-4e24, 32 HR, 115 RBI, 311/361/555, Led League with 54 2b and 359 Total Bases. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/93881/2019/1/2019
34. 1971 Tony Oliva RF, Twins, Bats-L, 5R .337 22 81 .369 .546 .915, 2(-2)e10. Led A.L. in BA & SLG. Career highs in BA, OPS+. Near career highs in SLG, OPS & OBP. Sure fire HOF career derailed by knee injuries that turned him into DH. Only player in MLB history to win the batting title in his first 2 seasons. All Star RFer his first 8 seasons before knee injury, winning 3 batting titles, finished second once, third 3 times and eighth once. Mauls RHP. Easily Oliva's best card.
https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/739082/1670/1/70
35. 2004 Randy Johnson - best whip of his career. Year he threw his perfect game. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/3235/1700/1/120
36. 1992 Pat Listach, MIL, Bats-S, 2b-2e17/SS-2e27, 1992 Rookie of the Year, Stole 54 bases, would add a quality middle infielder for Brewers.
37. 1974 Mike Jorgensen, LHB, Expos, .310 11 59 .444 .488 .931 1B 1e3, LF/RF 3(0)e6. Career highs in BA, OBP, SLG, OPS & OPS+. Near career highs in BB & 2B. Jorgensen hits lefties and righties equally well, will knock in some runs with positive clutch hitting and has a crazy high, for the expansion era, .444 OBP. No ATG card.

12. 1969 Mack Jones MON LF Bats-L Career-high .270 BA, .379 OBP, .488 SLG, 867 OPS, 22 HR & 79 RBI.
28. 1961 George Altman- his 2 cards in the set are not really representative of his talent. He was an all star in 61 and 62 and he was a NeL player for a few months in the 50's. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/30176/1660/1/60
29. 1898 Jimmy Collins .328 .377 .479 Led the league in HR's with 15. Great glove and speed, played in every game his team played that year with 657 plate appearances. Should be bulletproof.

38. 2007 Jorge Posada, Yankees, c-2(0)e4,T-2(pb-4) / 1b-4e25, Switch hitter. .338 20 90 .426 .543 .970. Career highs in H, 2B (42!), BA, OBP, SLG, TB, OPS & 0PS+. Silver Slugger. 17 year career, 5x All Star. This card has more hits than Posada’s lone card, which chronically under performs. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/920/2007/1/20714
39. 1936 Joe DiMaggio NY rookie year, 928 OPS 128 OPS+ 661 PA. 64 games in Left Field! 55 in Center 20 in Right. 8th in MVP, led league in triples.
