I know we have three Pujols cards now, but ... that 2006 year!

2006 Albert Pujols STL Bats-R BAL-2R 1b-1e7 INJ Risk-3
LH--2b- 6.1 3b-0.0 HR-11.8 BB-14 .405/.494/.854 OPS-1.348
RH--2b- 5.6 3b-0.0 HR-16.9 BB-15 .414/.501/1.026 OPS-1.527

none of those other cards indicate his dominance in mlb,
16.9 Hr v righty for RH hitter would be real useful

I always really liked his rookie year. He was great AND played all over the field

Looking at the Mets in atg9 they could really use another option at second base Alfonzo is currently the only option above 2 million dollars. Also I think they could use a few extra options in the bullpen, with only 2 options above 3 million. A few suggestions :

Second base
2019 Jeff McNeil Played 2b/3b/Lf/Rf
2009 Luis Castillo

Relief pitchers
99 Armando Benitez
06 billy Wagner
06 Pedro Feliciano
13 Bobby Parnell

I think once the 2022 set is available you can "sound the trumpets" for Edwin Diaz to be added to those other relievers on the Mets.

For fun I checked the card reader for the Mets at second base. We have two Alfonzo cards. 1998 and 1999. He's not 2b eligible in 1998, and in 1999 he is 2e5. But 2000 was his best offensive season by far, and he is a 1e12 1R. That would be a great upgrade.

Unfortunately we don’t have much at second throughout our history. I think aside from Alfonzo ,Murphy and the ones I mentioned Neil Walker might be the next best offensive option.

On the cheap, Millan was decent for the Mets, later in his career.
IDK what his D is though.

1973: .290

1976/1976: .283/.282

Millan in 1973 is a 2 e10; '75 is a 2 e23,'76 is 3 e20.

He is bulletproof in 1975 as he played all 162 games (first Met to do it).

If you are looking for cheap Mets 2b1, Doug Flynn, 1980. Can't hit, but a 2b108. I still think Alfonzo 2000 would be a great add.
