21.1 Nominations are Open!

Welcome to the 21.1 Nomination thread. Please check out Andy's posts on upgrades and players w/o cards.

All MLB cards from 1871-2019 are eligible per Strat

Our 21.1 parameters are as follows.
1. One nomination per member only
2. When we hit 41 unique nominations we will begin voting (after Andy posts card analysis)
3. We will have one poll of 50 cards; the top 23* will be added
4. Any ties for the final spot will be added in 21.1
5. Next "x" highest vote getters will get another shot in 21.1
6. Note: 300 PA/100 IP/50 IP minimums now in place

Please submit nominations in a 'Year Player Team Position Comments' format.

1948 Ken Keltner CLE 3B .297/.395/.522 31 HR 119 RBI , one of the top players on the Cleveland BASEBALL TEAMS last World Series Champion. A most underrepresented team in Strat. Possibly the best third basemen of the late 30's and 40's. Joe Di Maggio considered him to be the best at 3B.

7. 1998 Scott Rolen PHI 3B. - Won a gold glove and hit 31 homeruns in just his second season in the league. .290/.391/.532. 711 Plate appearances and a competent base stealer racking up 14 this season. Currently Mike Schmidt is the only Phillies exp era 3b with a card. Some Variety perhaps?
