Hi Andy
Where would the 1916 Rube Marquard stack up to his best card now?

I’ll put numbers to it when I get a chance.
At a cursory glance, about the same as 1913 but maybe a few less XBH

It will almost certainly be a non* card.

1916 Rube Marquard, PHA, Throws-L, BAL-E, S8/R5
LH--2b-0.8 3b-0.2 HR-0 BB-2 .154/.170/.165, .335 OPS
RH--2b-0.8 3b-0.2 HR-0 BB-2 .151/.167/.162, .329 OPS
Current 1913 Rube Marquard, PHA, Throws-L, BAL-E, S8*/R5
LH--2b-2.3 3b-1 HR-1.1 BB-0 .163/.163/.232, .395 OPS
RH--2b-2.3 3b-1 HR-1.1 BB-0 .160/.160/.230, .390 OPS

RH--2b-2.2 3b-0.8 HR-2.9 BB-7 .059/.120/.181, .302 OPS
Current 1972 Gaylord Perry, CLE, Throws-R, BAL-1R, S9*
LH--2b-3.3 3b-0.6 HR-1.8 BB-3 .144/.168/.238, .406 OPS
RH--2b-3.8 3b-1.4 HR-0.4 BB-2 .118/.135/.192, .327 OPS

Very similar to what we have, but with more dingers

Wes Ferrell definitely needs an upgrade. A couple good options in the OP but curious about his 1935 card as that's his best year according to BBref, although maybe the difference is mostly hitting. Speaking of which, are the relevant hitting cards all 8NR?

Seems like I studied Podres’ cards a few years back. I’ll see what I can find.
