1999 Armando Benitez NYM Throws-R BAL-2R END-R1
LH—2b-0.0 3b-0.2 HR-0.0 BB-25 .004/.234/.008 OPS-.243
RH—2b-0.0 3b-0.0 HR-0.0 BB-10 .000/.093/.000 OPS-.093
2004 Current Benitez, Armando FLA Throws-R BAL-3R END-R2
LH—2b-0 3b-0 HR-2.6 BB-14 .049/.172/.132 OPS-.304
RH—2b-0 3b-0 HR-1.7 BB-0 .016/.016.063 OPS-.079
A little better, but not substantially. Does give him a Mets card

2008 Mariano Rivera NYY Throws-R BAL-2L END-R1
LH—2b-0 3b-0 HR-0 BB-0 .000/.000/.000 OPS-.000
RH—2b-3.5 3b-0.0 HR-1.0 BB-0 .042/.042/.102 OPS-.144
1996 Current Rivera, Mariano NYY Throws-R BAL-3R END-R2
LH—2b-0.2 3b-0 HR-0 BB-6 .093/.144/.095 OPS-.239
RH—2b-0 3b-0 HR-0 BB-7 .000/.065/.000 OPS-.065
2005 Current Rivera, Mariano NYY Throws-R BAL-1L END-R1
LH—2b-0 3b-0.8 HR-0 BB-0 .034/.034/.049 OPS-.083
RH—2b-0 3b-0.8 HR-0 BB-11 .019/.119/.035 OPS-.154
This is representative of what Rivera did; tougher on LH than RH hitters. Not a lot different than 2005, although the 2008 card has absolutely nothing on it to help hitters.............

currently we have the 1988 version of Duane Ward. Much better is the 93 year where he blew out his arm.

If anything, we should at least use the card that ended his career out of empathy and immortalize him in SOM.

thanks

“FIREMEN” FROM THE 1970S
==========================

1973 John Hiller - R3
10-5 | 1.44 ERA | 125 IP | 38 saves | 1.02 WHIP | 283 ERA+ | 2.25 FIP

1972 Sparky Lyle
- R3
9-5 | 1.92 ERA | 108 IP | 35 saves | 1.05 WHIP | 154 ERA+ | 2.18 FIP

1980 Doug Corbett - R3
8-6 | 1.98 ERA | 136 IP | 23 saves | 1.06 WHIP | 221 ERA+ | 3.06 FIP

Both John Hiller & Sparky Lyle, arguably have better cases for the HOF than Bruce Sutter. Corbett's career cut short by injuries, but brilliant at his peak
