I'd totally vote for Beltre's Boston card. He's got a Texas card already after all. And that Boston year was probably his 2nd-best season yeah?

Probably his most balanced good card, not quite as much HR power as others....

I like that card too. Almost ALL hits, and tons of doubles

WWhat would Terry Pendleton's 1991 card look like? MVP, led league in BA, Hits, Total Bases. Slightly better v Righties, strong defense.

might be a small improvement but

1924 Jack Fournier
1902 Bill Bradley
1944 Snuffy Stirnweiss
1930 Travis Jackson
1908 Joe tinker (I think that was his best D year)
1923 Bernie Friberg (would him justice in som)

but all these may not push the needle.

Lave Cross 1902. the guy had a 21y career and SOM has a poor card for him. his 1884 is perhaps his best year but keeping to 1901+ the 02 year is a better representation.

I know Hornsby has 4 season as a 2B represented so not anything urgent but it would be cool to remember he arrived in the majors as a shortstop. Probably using his 1917 season where he led the league in slugging, oPS and OPS+ As well as triples. Not as much home run power of course in the dead ball era but probably a cheaper version that nods to his development from shortstop into one of the top two second basemen of all time.
