I'd really like to see J.Posada's best year added to the set.

In 2007, his age 36 year, he set career highs in BA, OBP, SLG and OPS+. He's slightly better versus righties that year as well. Even a little better on the road than at home. I don't know what the defense would be.

I'd definitely vote for this card!

It may sound crazy, but I'd like to see another Ken Rudolph card. We have his 1970, but in 1971, he started more games, had twice as many fielding chances and committed no errors.

But, as an added bonus, he threw out OVER 80% of runners trying to steal AND almost pretty much all of his hitting metrics in 1971 were double that of his paltry 1970 hitting stats.

Not sure what his defensive rating for 1971 was, but it should be as good or better than 1970 and he'll actually be able to get on base once in a while.

I see the same stats you see, but the rating doesn’t reflect it. May be a small sample size thing that they wouldn’t honor when creating the card.

It's probably because he didn't play much, and a "true" rating would make him better than the Cubs Starting catcher that year, tempting you to use him more in a replay.
Lets not forget, Hal Richmond designed Strat to simulate an ACTUAL season replay.
Many of the things we "don't understand" are simply a product of using the cards out of context.
