I agree that 2009 was his best card, but Marcpelletier wanted a Montreal card for him.

I like the 2L 2001 card. Just need to steer clear of the lefty power parks...

Sure. Heck, I couldn't even remember Vazquez played for the Braves!

I also think (or at least hope) that we'll get better advantage of using the 2001card in a small ballpark.

Overall, we could use more in ATG of high quality 7-8M cards with plenty BP. Cards like Schilling, Scherzer, Verlander... there ain't many of them.

Great job ratioman! You and Andy both provide a valuable service to the online SOM ATG community.

It seems as though you are looking for cards of star players that are a little different than those already in the card set for such players.

How about 1974 Willie Stargell? Aside from having less power than the other Stargell cards, if I remember correctly, that card is about the only Stargell card that hits lefties as well as righties. I also believe that it was the last year that Stargell was a 3 in LF. Can you give us some numbers on that card?

Keep up the good work!

Thanks Big Willie. I'm fortunate enough to have a hobby that I am passionate about and I can do easily every morning.

The problem with 1974 cards is that the card app only has basic lefty righty cards. So there are no ballpark homeruns or singles. If we asked for a 1974 card I am sure they would make it, but the card would change. For example, we know ballpark singles take away two singles readings from the card. Johnny Bench has a 1974 card in ATG where the BP single takes away the single on 2/11 - but the card app doesn't show a single there; in fact the card app shows no singles on 2,3, 11 or 12, so we know they had to manually create that card. His card app has no BP singles or HRs. Stargell 1974 is a lf3(-4)11 1b415. STL E 1-8. 1R I tried finding a Stargell "2" and don't see one.

Sometimes once HAL had an idea about a player's defense it was written in stone forever.

I tried to find a 1 for Musial - no.

A 1 (or a 1b2) for Heilmann – no.

A 2 for Teddy Ballgame – no.

A 2 for Manny Ramirez – no.

A 1 or 2 for Al Rosen – no.

Jimmy Foxx started out playing a lot as a catcher – nothing at all playable there.

A 3 for Hank Greenberg – no.

A 3 for Ralph Kiner – no.

Lave Cross has one card 1904 689 ops but in 1894 he had an OPS of 950 as a catcher, ss and 2b – but his ratings are c 4(4)6 t8 pb 18 ss460 2b471 1L.

Hal Trosky has slightly better hitting years, but still a 4.

Bob Johnson PHA 1939 had a great hitting year, 338/440/553/993 156ops+ [current ops 911] but his fielding was atrocious lf 413(+5) rf 413 cf 413 2b430

Victor Martinez 2014 no card MVP2 335/409 (led league)/565 (974 ops led league) But horrible defense 1b4e15 c5(+2)e16 T20

Milton Bradley 12 years no card 2008 TEX 321/436/563/ 999 414 ab 80 bb LF/RF 4(0)25 2 inj 3L

Thank RM--
I really like the fact that you have spent the time looking and def see a few cards that would be good adds- think the Cochrane one would be nice bc his card now is usually a back up at high caps.
