2. 1978 Bob Welch, RH S/R, Dodgers, 7-4 2.02 1.060. Career bests in ERA & HR9. Near career bests in WHIP, H9 & BB9. Welch's 1990 27 win card ($4.66 mil) does not do him justice.

3. 1915 Ty Cobb. I know I know, another Cobb card. Yet, this was his highest single season OBP (.486) and his stolen base record (96) which would stand until 1962! It's a crime that this card is not already in the set.

It's unfortunate you feel this way, because Richardson was the leading vote getter.

I like them both. It's hard to get middle infielders in sometimes, unless they have some name recognition.

I don't get to follow this thread as closely as I would like.

So with that being said I would like to nominate the 1956 Season of Charlie "Paw Paw" Maxwell up for inclusion in the 20.2 Voting.

I'm not sure what the card would look like but this season is one of "Paw Paw"s " best.
Also known as Sunday Charlie, he hit 27% of his career home runs on Sunday.
