The great lingering question that everyone wants to see answered, "which ones will be the 'mistakes'?" :D 8-)

Lindy McDaniel started two games in 1960 and his card has an S5 rating. Will this rating be removed when the card is added to the set, so that he can be priced as a "True-RP?"

I'd be very surprised if the S5 rating was removed. For a 'pure reliever' card of McDaniel's, I like the 1970 Yankee card the best.

How can pricing by the committee of 5 (or more?) community members take two months?? Bill, you should ask Garcia to impose a one month limit on pricing and if someone is holding up the process, just proceed without them. But I also am given to understand that Garcia himself is often a major contributor to the bottleneck. As near as I can determine, the current pricing committee appears to be comprised of childswmc, rburgh, andy, george bernard, and Joe the Jet. Would be nice if the process was more transparent so that we can see precisely where the bottlenecks are and then eliminate the cause.

Judging from the silence that followed my last post, perhaps I stepped on the SOM equivalent of the "third rail."

Ha. I don't know about that, but I have contacted Strat and am awaiting a reply re 19.2, etc.

Thanks,

Considering that 19.1 was late, I expected 19.2 to be added right on the heels of 19.1. Wishful thinking, I guess.

In the past when I've complained about the lack of urgency with regards to cards being added,
there are usually a few who step up and defend Strat.

How frickin' hard is it to price and add cards?

What are the doing in Glenhead? I don't get it...

Where are the Strat faithful here?

One of the problems is that the pricing is done by a committee of community members, not Strat, and it appears that is where a good portion of the delay is from.

For whatever reason, no one who is actually on the pricing committee seems to be willing to post anything on this topic.
