Greer, Brown and maybe Burnitz to me have potential-
keep in mind that if a guy is a terrible fielder, they are very likely relegated to a DH role-
ergo- either an even better hitting card or a lower price to be really useable;
and I hate relying on the low price since we don't control that aspect.

1986 Gary Pettis, CAL, Bats-S, 1L Balance, CF-1(0)e8, Steal: *4-6/-(19-15), 3 Game INJ Risk
1.60 1.50 2.10 6 0 0.280 0.320 0.387 0.708
3.80 0.50 1.50 18 0 0.216 0.346 0.319 0.665

1989 Gary Pettis, DET, Bats-S, E Balance, CF-1(+1)e6, Steal: *3-6/-(18-15), 15 Game INJ Risk
LH--0 2b, 1.6 3b, 0 HR, 24 BB 275/436/313, .749 OPS
RH--0 2b, 1.8 3b, 0.6 HR, 26 BB 265/442/329, .771 OPS

Added an Angel Pettis, though Devon White probably fills that role for the Angels. The 89 card would be a decent speedy OF for smaller caps.

1997 Brian Hunter, DET, Bats-R, E Balance, CF-2(-1)e4, *2-6,11/-(19-15), BULLETPROOF
LH--4.2 2b, 3.2 3b, 1.3 HR, 12 BB 266/348/416, .763 OPS
RH--2.6 2b, 1 3b, 1.3 HR, 11 BB 285/358/371, .728 OPS

1997 is about his career average, not that outstanding of a career.

1996 Geronimo Berroa, OAK, Bats-R, 2L Balance, RF/LF-4(+1)e6, 3 Game INJ Risk
LH--8.3 2b, 0 3b, 8.5 HR, 11 BB 377/452/733, 1.184 OPS
RH--4.4 2b, 0 3b, 9.4 HR, 5 BB 293/339/615, .954 OPS

Mid 90s slugger with a couple of decent years for the A's.

1994 Mark Whiten, STL, Bats-L, 1R Balance, RF-3(-5)e17, 15 Game INJ Risk
LH--0.4 2b, 0 3b, 5.9 HR, 0 BB 324/330/491, .821 OPS
RH--6.9 2b, 0.8 3b, 6.4 HR,10 BB 319/394/606, 1.001 OPS

1996 Mark Whiten too small a sample size

Whiten hit 4 homers in a game once, and didn't do much else. Nice little bit of power vs RHP, rough defense. Not too interesting.

1998 Ben Grieve, OAK, Bats-L, 1R Balance, RF-4(0)e2, 3 Game INJ Risk
LH--7.2 2b, 0 3b, 4.3 HR, 17 BB 184/335/411, .746 OPS
RH--7.3 2b, 0.2 3b, 2.3 HR, 17 BB 348/469/511, .980 OPS
Rookie of the Year.

1999 Ben Grieve, OAK, Bats-L, 7R Balance, RF/LF-4(+2)e4, 15 Game INJ Risk
LH--0.8 2b, 0 3b, 2.5 HR, 6 BB 089/165/173, .338 OPS
RH--3.5 2b, 0 3b, 9.8 HR, 14 BB 314/422/675, 1.096 OPS

2000 Ben Grieve, OAK, Bats-L, 1R Balance, LF-4(+2)e4, 3 Game INJ Risk
LH--7.3 2b, 0 3b, 6 HR, 12 BB 268/356/534, .890 OPS
RH--7 2b, 0 3b, 6.3 HR, 12 BB 297/381/568, .949 OPS

Had a promising start to his career. BAD defense that really isn't overcome by awesome hitting stats. Not right now......

1997 Matt Stairs, OAK, Bats-L, 1R Balance, RF/LF-4(-2)e7, 1b-4e7, 15 Game INJ Risk
LH--0 2b, 0 3b, 15.3 HR, 17 BB 253/384/767, 1.151 OPS
RH--6.3 2b, 0 3b, 10.6 HR, 16 BB 352/460/775, 1.235 OPS

1998 Matt Stairs, OAK, Bats-L, 1R Balance, RF/LF-4(0)e7, 1b-4e22, 15 Game INJ Risk
LH--6.5 2b, 0 3b, 7.3 HR, 7 BB 292/351/578, .929 OPS
RH--6.5 2b, 0 3b, 7.3 HR, 12 BB 330/417/631, 1.048 OPS

1999 Matt Stairs, OAK, Bats-L, 3R Balance, RF-3(-2)e7, 1b-3e22, 3 Game INJ Risk
LH--5.4 2b, 0 3b, 6.3 HR, 19 BB 215/361/489, .850 OPS
RH--3 2b, 0.8 3b, 12.6 HR, 18 BB 266/395/742, 1.137 OPS

2003 Matt Stairs, PIT, Bats-L, 7R Balance, RF/LF-4(+1)e4, 1b-4e13, 2 INJ Rating, 15 Game INJ Risk
LH--0 2b, 0 3b,3.5 HR, 9 BB 118/216/226, 442 OPS
RH--7.1 2b, 0 3b, 10.6 HR, 17 BB 339/461/781, 1.242 OPS

Professional Hitter. I'm a fan of that 1997 card.

1974 Greg Gross, HOU, Bats-L, 4R Balance, RF/LF-2(+1)e2, 3 Game INJ Risk
LH--1.3 2b, 0.6 3b, 0 HR, 15 BB 232/339/259, .597 OPS
RH--2.8 2b, 2.2 3b, 0 HR, 14 BB 404/481/481, .962 OPS

Good pinch hitter for many years. Don't see much of a point for him having a card though.....

1973 Mike Lum, ATL, Bats-L, 4L Balance, 1b-4e16, RF/LF-2(-1)e7, CF-3(-1)e7, 15 Game INJ Risk
LH--9.8 2b, 3 3b, 3 HR, 6 BB 414/457/662, 1.119 OPS
RH--4 2b, 0.8 3b, 3.8 HR, 4 BB 272/313/437, .749 OPS

Nice reverse split vs LHP. Not a top add by any means.

1988 Joe Orsulak, BAL, Bats-L, 4R Balance, RF/LF-3(-1)e9, CF-4(-1)e9, 15 Game INJ Risk
LH--0 2b, 0 3b, 0 HR, 9 BB 246/323/246, .570 OPS
RH--8.6 2b, 1.5 3b, 2.6 HR, 1 BB 342/360/527, .887 OPS

1989 Joe Orsulak, BAL, Bats-L, 5R Balance, RF/LF-3(-1)e9, 15 Game INJ Risk
LH--7.5 2b, 0 3b, 0 HR, 4 BB 168/206/241, .447 OPS
RH--6.2 2b, 2.3 3b,2.2 HR, 10 BB 345/412/523, .935 OPS

I don't see a worthy add here.

1993 Jim Eisenreich, PHI, Bats-L, 1R Balance, RF-2(+1)e2CF-3(+1)e2, 1b-4e15, 15 Game INJ Risk
LH--2.3 2b, 2.7 3b, 1.3 HR, 4 BB 324/356/434, .790 OPS
RH--5 2b, 1.2 3b, 1.6 HR, 2 BB 374/391/489, .880 OPS

1995 Jim Eisenreich, PHI, Bats-L, 6R Balance, RF/LF-3(+1)e0, CF-4(+1)e0, 15 Game INJ Risk
LH--2.7 2b, 0 3b, 0 HR, 12 BB 181/280/209, .489 OPS
RH--7.3 2b, 0.6 3b, 3.9 HR, 7 BB 416/459/618, 1.077 OPS

1996 Jim Eisenreich, PHI, Bats-L, 4R Balance, RF/LF-3(+1)e8, CF-4(+1)e8, 3 INJ Rating, 15 Game INJ Risk
LH--0.2 2b, 0 3b, 0 HR, 2 BB 352/370/353, .723 OPS
RH--10.1 2b, 1.3 3b, 2.1 HR, 4 BB 471/495/655, 1.151 OPS

Famous story, wouldn't mind seeing his 95 card at some point.

1997 Michael Tucker, ATL, Bats-L, 2R Balance, RF/LF-3(-1)e7, 15 Game INJ Risk
LH--3.8 2b, 0 3b, 0 HR, 4 BB 303/348/340, .688 OPS
RH--4.6 2b, 2.7 3b, 5 HR, 8 BB 310/380/567, .947 OPS

Hit the first Turner Field Home Run. Is that worthy of a card? Not right now...….

1979 Joel Youngblood, NYM, Bats-R, 1L Balance, RF/LF-2(-3)e6, CF-3(-3)e6, 2b-4e41, 3b-4e37, 3 Game INJ Risk
LH--6.6 2b, 0 3b, 5.8 HR, 12 BB 277/377/533, .910 OPS
RH--7.9 2b, 1.3 3b, 2 HR, 9 BB 288/367/458, .824 OPS

1983 Joel Youngblood, SF, Bats-R, 3L Balance, RF/LF-2(-3)e10, 2b-4e41, 3b-4e32
LH--7.4 2b, 0.6 3b, 8.5 HR, 10 BB 397/470/756, 1.226 OPS
RH--5.6 2b, 1.2 3b, 5.5 HR, 6 BB 280/340/524, .865 OPS

Plays multiple spots, can be a good platoon vs LHP. I like the 1983 card.

1998 Matt Lawton, MIN, Bats-L, 1L Balance, RF/LF/CF-4(0)e4, 3 Game INJ Risk
LH--8.5 2b, 1 3b, 5.8 HR, 19 BB 286/444/616, 1.061 OPS
RH--5.4 2b, 1.6 3b, 3.5 HR, 15 BB 285/418/502, .920 OPS

2000 Matt Lawton, MIN, Bats-L, 2R Balance, RF-2(0)e6, LF-3(0)e6, CF-4(0)e6, 3 Game INJ Risk
LH--2.6 2b, 0.6 3b, 2.4 HR, 6 BB 304/362/415, .776 OPS
RH--11.1 2b, 0 3b, 1.7 HR, 20 BB 341/481/532, 1.013 OPS

A big part of the Twins 1997-2001, and needs a card in the set. I like the 2000 card.

1993 Orlando Merced, PIT, Bats-S, 1R Balance, RF-3(0)e15, 1b-4e11, 15 Game INJ Risk
LH--5.9 2b, 4.4 3b, 0 HR, 16 BB 339/437/498, .934 OPS
RH--6.4 2b, 0 3b, 2.4 HR, 19 BB 380/489/531, 1.020 OPS

1995 Orlando Merced, PIT, Bats-S, 3R Balance, RF-3(-1)e8, LF-4(-1)e8, 1b-2e7, 15 Game INJ Risk
LH--3 2b, 0.8 3b, 5.7 HR, 13 BB 181/280/408, .688 OPS
RH--7.6 2b, 0.8 3b, 2.7 HR, 5 BB 368/397/534, .931 OPS

Not a bad add, I think the 1993 card is a good one.

1999 Roger Cedeno, NYM, Bats-S, 4R Balance, RF/LF/CF-4(0)e4, 2b-5e71, Steal: *2-6,11,12/-(19-15), 15 Game INJ Risk
LH--2.6 2b, 0 3b, 2.5 HR, 22 BB 165/343/284, .627 OPS
RH--4.3 2b, 1.2 3b, 1 HR, 12 BB 407/479/509, .988 OPS

Fun, speedy card vs RHP, if you can get past that defense. Batted .500 in 1999 NLCS.

1973 Steve Braun, MIN, Bats-L, 3R Balance, 3b-4e27, LF-5(+2)e12
LH—3.6 2b, 3 3b, 0.5 HR, 15 BB 194/321/307, .628 OPS
RH—12 2b, 1 3b, 1 HR, 24 BB 343/501/550, 1.051 OPS

Twins hitter from 1970s, good platoon card vs RHP
