What is 18.5 going to look like.. we have had a big influx of high dollar cards.. I would like to see more teams added so we can balance out the lower priced players as well.

So I have a proposal for the card voting in 2019 (and maybe going forward) that I'm working on right now, should be ready for prime time in a few weeks.

High level - we will vote on a top 50 or so per position and then pull from that based on our parameters for each add. So for example, if we decide as 2cityfan suggests, to go lower dollar, than we would sort each top 50 by position to represent the highest ranked, potentially lower dollar cards. It will be clearer once I publish the details.

Tks

Re 19.1, .2, and .4, I'm for whatever proposal that might result in a few more Rays cards being added.

Re 19.3 (50 card add), I suggest adding both a Marlins and D-Backs world series team, to get those franchises covered, rather than taking 2 more years to do it.

Thanks,
Bill

The '03 Marlins have been one of the most worthy adds for years. '08 Longoria is a weird guy to exclude from that '08 team, even with his '09 card. I'm very much for adding whole teams.

I'll ask for '04 Beltran until the end of time. Any Adrian Beltre card from 2010 on. He was still darn good in those Seattle years. A first class HOFer who was considered overly criticized for "underachieving" for close to half his career.

Looking at single-season WAR leaders, Mookie Betts already has the 21st (10.9) and 71th (9.7) best seasons ever on baseball reference.

I honestly don't see the "big influx of high dollar cards". Most of these cards (at least the hitters cards) are in the 4-6 mil range, hardly high dollar cards.

George, 6 mil cards are high dollar when trying to build franchise leagues that align to 80 mil or even 100 mil caps.. need more sub $100 card fillers to fill out franchise themes for the 90's and 2000's..

Probably as soon as he gets booted out of the Barnstormer's Semi's.
