cool-- lets start with some of the suggestions we've had so far-- Ill keep adding as players get brought up that look like they would be used at anything above 140 mil.

1. Chris Davis 6R 2013 card 1B
2. Jeff Russell LHRP
3. Harry Heilmann 1923
4. Steve Howe LHRP 1991 7L
5. Duane Ward 1993
6. Matt Kemp 2011
7. Chipper Jones 2007 3b 3e12 7R
8. Jose Bautista 2011 3B OPS 1.055 good card
9. Joey Votto 2012 5 inj 1.041 OPS

Jeff Russell is a RHP. His 1991 .95 whip would be a very nice addition to the Rangers franchise bullpen, but it's uncertain that he would be a stud at all caps. If you are looking for previously mentioned LHRP studs at all caps, Zach Britton 2016 (.836 whip) and Aroldis Chapman 2012 (.809 whip) stand out. Neither have cards. Britton in particular is critical to the Orioles bullpen, which is anemic.

Ratio-- you are right, my mistake on Russell-- that card probably would get used at all levels but there are better rps there.
While I wasn't looking particularly for franchise adds, your suggestion works well even though hes a reverse lefty-- will probably find one more studly rp to go in as well.

Thanks for your suggestion-- and am open for more that would work from all; I don't have the card viewer to see what every card looks like, so the list will be skewed towards ones we can see-- unless we get some folks who add ideas.
Basically, keep in mind that we are looking for around 1.000 OPS and we have lots of 1bs and DH types already- as you can see SS, 2b, C are a bit wider range.

1. Chris Davis 6R 2013 card 1B
2. Zach Britton 2016 LHRP 4R
3. Harry Heilmann 1923
4. Steve Howe LHRP 1991 7L
5. Duane Ward 1993
6. Matt Kemp 2011
7. Chipper Jones 2007 3b 3e12 7R
8. Jose Bautista 2011 3B OPS 1.055 good card
9. George Sisler 1922 1b OPS 1.061 BA .420 OBP .467 SLG .594
10. Buck Ewing 1890 Catcher ABs 352 Avg. .338 OBP. 406 SLG. .545
OR 1893 ABs 500 Avg. .344 OBP .394 SLG .496
11. Cupid Childs 1894 2B PA 595 BA .353 OBP .475 SLG. 459 OPS .935
12. George Davis 1894 SS PA 566 BA. .352 OBP.434 SLG. .541 OPS .976
13. Hardy Richardson 1886 2B PA 584 BA .351 OBP .402 SLG .504 OPS .906
14. Heinie Zimmerman 1912 3b plus BA .372 OBP .418 SLG .579 OPS .989
15. Bill Joyce 1894 3B PA459 AB355 BA .355 OBP .496 SLG .698 OPS 1.143

Maybe instead of the above: (ill add more)

2001 OR 2004 JD DREW-- anyone can see these cards please chime in.
1928 Goose Goslin PA 526 BA .379 OBP .442 SLG .614 OPS 1.056 LF/RF

Jeff Russell '89 is a part of the 17.3 add.

Some other lefty relievers to consider are...they all have mystery cards for these yrs.
John Hiller '73 season. 38sv 1.02 whip, 1L
Tom House '74, 0.98 whip 5L
Juan Agosto '88, 1.13whip 9L
Don Carman '85, 1.04whip 1L

Already have Votto's 2010, which has way more pop and max 3 game inj. Is his .474 OBP that more attractive with that inj rating?

Agree on Votto,
and already replaced Russell.
already had it removed. Was a better hitting card than we have b/c crazy doubles, but too much inj. so gone.

Ill have more coming-- so folks can chime in on any of the nominations--
and would especially love it if anyone could look at the early cards that we can't see.

Couple of other comments...
1. We have recently added quite a few 2000+ cards, so while I'm not ruling them out of this add there won't be more than a few.
2. Until we fill the many gaps we have among franchises and decades I won't be supporting any pre 1900 adds.

I think the issue with that is it leaves us with the best cards left being mostly RPs. from the 80s and 90s.

I recognize the dilemma, just challenging us all to come up with some viable candidates that don't have a 2 in front of their year. Again not opposed to including a few, just not a gaggle.

Id like to include some pre-1900s because those are the cards that will fill the positions most in need--
2b, C, SS.
How about we stipulate no more than 5 noms for pre, 5 noms for post and no more than 5 noms for 20XX?

Mike Lieberthal, PHI '99 .914 OPS, 5L C (1-3e3) zero cards
Heine Zimmerman, CHC 1912 .989 OPS, 3B/1B, 1 card (0.97)
George Watkins, STL '30, 1.037 OPS, RF/1B, 2 cards, this one would be much better and new to STL.
Harry Rice, SLB '25, 1.028 OPS, OF, zero cards
