Cy Semour is a great name especially when you consider that Sy is a nickname for Seymour.
So Seymour Semour. Just like the inventor of the mini skirt. Seymour Tush.

Bill Spiers 1997, no card in 13 year career. Nice utility option at every infield position 320/438/481
Morgan Ensberg 2005 no card in 8 year career. A nice third base option, finished fourth in MVP 283/388/557

First of all I would like to say that I like the way Strat releases new cards several times a year. Even though I too am disappointed in many of the selections I look forward to their release; if every card was released tomorrow we would have nothing to look forward to or for some people nothing to complain about.
I played the board game for about 10 years starting in 1982 and I had almost every Strat card that was released prior to about the early 90's. Knowing that there were some great cards we used that never made it to the online game I pulled the cards out of my closet and did a little research. I found 17 very good if not spectacular pitchers cards that would be worthy of a nomination.
Recently I have only been playing Franchise leagues, so I know that these players would certainly find a place in the franchise leagues but most of them could also land a spot on traditional league rosters. The majority of the players are relievers, but most of them are shut down pitchers! For those of you who have the card viewer take a look at some of these cards, the only unknown factor is pricing. To the best of my knowledge none of these players have an online card with the exception of Righetti.
Below is the list

1) Ken Sanders 1970 Brewers RH RP3.....ERA 1.75 WHIP 0.96

2) Tom House 1974 Braves. LH RP3.......ERA 1.92 WHIP 0.98

3)Ken Tatum 1969 Angels. RH RP3,.....ERA 1.36 WHIP 1.04

4)Tom Murphy 1968 Angels RH SP6......ERA 2.18 WHIP 0.95

5)Doug Henry 1991 Brewers RH RP1.....ERA 1.00 WHIP 0.83

6) Juan Agosto 1988 Astros LH RP2...... Era 2.26 Whip 1.13

7) Julio Solano 1984 Astros RH RP3....... Era 1.95 Whip 0.96

8) Stan Williams 1970 Twins RH RP3...... Era 1.99 Whip 1.03

9)Kevin Saucier 1981 Tigers LH RP2......Era 1.65 Whip 0.95

10) Atlee Hammaker 1983 Giants LH SP8.......Era 2.25 Whip 1.03

11) Rob Murphy 1986 Reds LH RP2.... Era 0.72 Whip 0.93

12) Jim Roland 1970 A's LH SP5 RP3.....Era 2.72. Whip 1.17

13) Steve MCcatty 1981 A's RH SP9........Era 2.32 Whip 1.08

14) Bruce Ruffin 1986 Phillies LH SP7... Era 2.46 Whip 1.24

15)Roberto Hernandez 1992 W.S.RH RP2.... era 1.65 Whip 0.91

16) Jim Umbricht 1962 Astros RH RP4......... era 2.01 Whip 1.01

17) Dave Righetti 1981 Yankees LH SP7........ Era 2.06 Whip 1.01

I realize that Righetti has 2 previous reliever cards but with an already over abundance of relievers I would lobby to make an exception and nominate his only starting pitching card.

Additionally I have found 9 hitters cards that I think would be nomination worthy but time does not permit right now.

From the 1980s, I went through some pitching cards
Tim Burke 1987, Chris Bosio 1989, Jose Deleon 1989, Mike Norris 1980, Mark Gubzica

But only Burke and Norris would be used in unlimited leagues...

Zach Britton 2016. 4th in Cy Young, 11th in MVP as a Relief Pitcher. .84 whip, .1 HR/9. For all of the mythology around Earl Weaver's "pitching, defense and the three run homer", the Orioles SOM pitching cards are not good at high caps.

I think Francisco Liriano's 2006 card would be a great addition. 2.16 ERA, 144 Ks in 121 IP. He blew his arm out during the season, and was never quite the same, although he did pitch one of the ugliest no-hitters in history.

Would also like to see Mike Norris and Tim Burke. Also Mike Tiernan and the 1971 Dan Frisella. Not to mention Otis Nixon.

not gonna argue strat-card value, but, off the top of my head, I would like to see

Dolfo Philips - will settle for any year, '66-'68, but would vastly prefer '66 or '67

Kosuke Fukudome - any year OTHER than 2012.

Ernie Banks, any of his years at first, hopefully a low e, high HR one.

Charlie Hollocher preferably 1922, but 1918 is probably closest to his 162-ized 'typical season as listed on bbref

Hank Borowy, preferably 1945, but any representative card, I guess.

Carlos Zambrano will settle for any season 2003- 2008

Matt Clement 2003

Joe Borowski 2003, 2003, or 2006
