Disagree. My nomination will be added, which was the whole point in the first place.

Think of it from a timing perspective, if we had started this process a few weeks later the Barnstormers Tour would've wrapped already, Hafner would already be destined for ATG and you would've picked a different guy initially.

So ultimately up to you, but if you do want to nominate another do it now because I'm about to put together the polls

Of course, always open to poking at this process. Once we get through 17.2 I'll start the 17.3 discussion.

Added card links where possible, cleaned up, added last few nominations to the list.
The card links with a /60 /70 /80 or /90 at the end are from Mystery Games. Mouse over the desired year to see the appropriate card. The defensive ratings are NOT accurate.

KEY:
AVE/OBP/SLG/OPS
BC = Better Card than currently in Set
MBC = Much better card
MMBC = Much Much better card
LL = Led league in that category
MVP-X = where they ended up that season in the MVP voting
CY-X = CY voting
XCards = # of cards in the ATG set

Tried to leave the context of your submission intact but edited for length here and there. We will vote on a separate thread but this will be the post that includes the details/highlights of the players.

I realize this is too late to bring this up, but it the 07 Torii Hunter his best card? I looked him up and he has several seasons that appear to be close. His best hitting card is a RF only, so that's out. Hunter should be represented with a 1 CF card, as in his prime he was one of the best CF'rs I've seen. He's a favorite of mine, and I'd really like to see his best card get in

His stats from 2002 look about the same as his 2007. He may have had a couple of negligibly better years with the Angels, but I like the fact that his Twins card was nominated. It'd be like giving Albert Pujols his first ATG card as an Angel in stead of a Cardinal.

I agree. Also , as always pricing weighs heavily. If the 2007 Hunter is priced around $4.8 -$5.2 I can see a lot of use out of it. Over $6 not so much

C'mon folks--

Cano has 18 votes and Vidro has 24
this is kind of nuts, nothing against Vidro but Cano is a 1E8 who kills Righties-
should be a no brainer

Vidro has a nice card in spite of the average glove,he also is badly needed by the Expos franchise who currently have Juan Bell as their top 2nd baseman. Its possible for both Cano and Vidro to get voted in. At least Cano already has a card which I see gets often used.

I nominated and voted for Vidro. I also voted for Cano.
