Where we are in this game of adding more cards to a fantasy baseball game called ALL TIME GREATS when you already have 4,500 cards up from 800 originally is best illustrated by having the most prolific player at this web site advocating for a 3RD CARD FOR EDDIE JOOST,a two time all star with a .239 batting average for needing a "representative card”, who cannot even crack the list of 100 best shortstops of all times. This game has become a Joe the Jet dream as most newcomers must think you need an MIT degree to succeed in this game. (when actually a friend running the game engine would be more helpful)

I clicked on the link because I like baseball history. 100 Greatest Shortstops. Eddie Joost is #63. Andy VanSlyke is #47. Andy VanSlyke never played one inning at shortstop in the major leagues. So Eddie Joost must have really sucked.

Speaking of VanSlyke, one summer he was in a terrible slump, grounding out to second a lot. He remarked that it reminded him of the "summer of 4 to 3". You have to be a certain age to get that joke I suppose.

Actually where we are with the game is exactly what I mentioned at the beginning of this process--

The cards were already something promised to be added by SoM on a regular every couple months basis--
which we have now sort of accepted a model of a few times per year-- assuming they follow through of course.

WHAT I ASKED was when are we actually going to get some game engine things addressed, of which there is no shortage?

There have been no game engine improvements in years-- and thats including a number of things which were supposedly on the 'to do' list.

FAR BE IT FOR ME TO ACTUALLY SUGGEST THOSE THINGS NEED TO BE DONE YESTERDAY--

So yeah, still waiting for those 2/3 of an acre and a mule...(reference explained upon request).

Looks like a MVP and Cy Young award winner with NO cards will be left out once again! While a few will be getting a THIRD card!! Basing this on where we are in the voting process at this point.

To SOM PUT THEM ALL IN!!!
