1/ Hal McRae. 1977 season. Should be completely bulletproof (but isn't because of that dumb SOM rule that doesn't take into consideration HBP -- he led the league with 13). 54 doubles, 11 triples, 21 homers. 136 ops+. 5L, pretty nice DH platoon. http://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/738055/1670/1/70

1998 Jose Offerman -- Solid major leaguer, no card. Adding for no better reason than when you rearrange the letters in his name is spells, "Major Offense"
2003 Carlos Beltran -- Not my first choice, but recommended by others in the forum

2000 Mike Sweeney -- Professional Hitter, recommended inclusion here into the ATG player set
2003 Angel Berroa -- Rookie of the year season, would help the royals at SS for franchise play
1988 Mark Gubicza -- No card, 20 game winner, worth voting on

As I said earlier, Gubicza doesn't have a card. I think he needs to be the SP option.

I like the Sweeney addition(he doesn't have a card), though I wouldn't mind the Beltran.

Dye already voted in.......Jackson and McRae aren't going to be a big improvement over what we have now....

From my perspective as a Royals fan, the focus on this franchise should be on adding the current crop of players, particularly 2012 Alex Gordon, 2013 Salvador Perez, 2015 Eric Hosmer, 2015 Lorenzo Cain, 2014 Alcides Escobar, 2013 Greg Holland, and 2015 Wade Davis.

Andy has a great perspective when it comes to what kind of cards would get play in ATG and what the set needs so I value his opinion. How do you see see the comparison of Gubizca vs Montgomery and Jackson vs Sweeney?
