My two would be...

1973 Grant Jackson 1.90 era 0.97 whip 5R Lefty
1973 Al Bumbry .337/.398/.500/.898 6R LF 3(+1) 11 triples, his most playable card

Not certain on the def rating for '73 Bumbry...

It's 4(+2)e6 in all 3 OF positions. I think we need to get behind the 1977 Bumbry. He could play in LF with a 3(+1)4.

How is Al Bumbry's defense in 1980? The metrics are promising. Other than 1973, where he only had 393 plate appearances, that was his best offensive year by far 318/392/433. 1980 was the only year he made an appearance on the MVP voting.

He's a 2(+1)5 at CF only in 1980. But is anybody gonna play that card in CF? That's why I thought the 1977 card was better, when you include him being playable in LF.

But his offense in 1977 was abysmal. OPS of 782. I guess he could play at the very low caps. But if 1980 is priced right, maybe that too is a low cap value.

I wish SOM would allow OFs to play in all OF positions, like the CD Rom. Good grief why does the simplest functionality request have to feel like apologetic begging.

I don't think you could call it abysmal. He batted 317/371/411, and that's a good OBP. For type of hitter he was, I think you can almost toss out his SLG, because it's his BA & OBP that carry him.

1980 he slashes 318/392/433. Not much off his 1977 except for SLG
