White had 9 errors in 92 games at CF, with Fld% of .961. Unlikely to get much Strat love at CF

True, but I've also noticed that Strat's defensive ratings don't necessarily seem to follow normal fielding metrics. Seems more like a "feel" than a use of defensive statistics.

Thoughts on Tiger additions:

1/ Bobby Veach. 1915 season. Led the league in doubles and RBIs, 141 ops+. LH hitter, probably a 1L. Long time Tiger outfielder needs a second card, why not from the best deadball Tiger team?

2/ Fats Fothergill. 1928 season. I know, we just added the 1927 season (his best), but this righthand hitter's '28 card might be an interesting addition. Probably a 2/3/4 injury (some of us don't shy away from injury), 28 doubles and 10 triples in 347 abs.

3/ Jo-Jo White. 1934 season. Centerfielder (actually all three positions). His best season coincides with the Tigers great season. On base machine (.419), 28 steals (second in the league even with only 115 games played -- looks like a platoon guy), looks like at least a 4R (if not more).

4/ Rudy York. 1943 season. Yeah, a fourth card, but his best overall season (if not his best offensive season). Led the league in HRs (34), slugging (.527), TBs (301), RBIs (118), probably a 2/3L.

5/ Tony Phillips. 1993 season. A TIger card. Plays all outfield, plus 2B and 3B. http://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/2872/1690/1/90 A .443 OBP (led the league in BBs (132), 130 ops+( his best).
