Re: 22.3 STRAT STATS on Nominations (Check Your Nominations)

on Bolling. BBRef lists 8 errors instead of 11? and a .339OBP not 341? either way is good. heck pair the 1/8 Bolling at 2b with the 3 error Ripken at SS, also nominated in this group, u gotta heck of a low-priced. out-producing MIF machine! they both got my votes plus Shanty Hogan. you talking about a guy on some of the best teams in MLB history who's lived in baseball and Strat obscurity! that b 3 vote getters. love to see the Bolin card. as is their MO, Strat left out his 6 8 year on his 60's mystery game card. I know I was really looking forward to the 6 8 Drysdale card just added but because it was 68 it's not much better than his 2 million $ cheaper card. reverse for Dusty Baker, seems most Fulton County Stadium cards don't translate that well. the Ryu card always performs well in the 2019 set. 97 Neagle does well in the 90's Mystery set. Ferguson card is awesome in the 1977 set and in over 50 years the Houston franchise has sucked at catcher. Ferguson and Ironically Biggio are both up for vote this go round..so Fergie, BGO, and Shanty town all get my vote.

Everyone had different agendas, but I try to vote for cards that I'd like to use (of course, pricing is always a key here)

Let's take Curt Simmons here , I would have voted for the 1963 card hands down, but cannot see myself using the 64 card.

They do. However, I'd expect the 1974 Monday card to potentially get a lot more use than the 3L 1975 version. The 1983 Moseby card is clearly far superior to his existing cards.

So much for informed decisions.

Another nomination process with cards destined for the FA list.

I'd go through the list of cards that won't see the light of day, but it doesn't seem to matter to some guys.
They would rather nominate based upon emotions, rather than NEED.
