Daily Game Legacy Franchise+26 League Opening
Posted: Mon Aug 03, 2020 11:12 pmStrat released the Daily Game card set today, and our Franchise+26 League, currently entering its 5th season, has an opening, due to the untimely passing of our good friend Bill Hamilton, aka Rynecrazy. Bill was a great guy, a great friend, and a great fan of baseball and Strat. He was also a lifelong Dodger fan, and that's the available team.
In a nutshell:
We're a 12 team league.
Each team is an MLB franchise and gets exclusive use of all players belonging to his real life franchise.
In addition each team drafts 26 "free agents" - drawn from the 18 non-league clubs
We normally play two seasons per year but this year, we will have only one
Teams get to protect 12 of their free agents and we draft up to 26 before the season begins.
The Dodgers are of course stacked, and even more so in this league with the likes of deGrom, Ryu, Manaea, Ketel Marte, Machado, Carlos Santana and more in their FA stable.
