Player cards change every day, but the prices stay the same. So for example, Joey Votto costs 8.01, but his card isn't very good because he's not hitting homers this year in real life... therefore no one has him in my league. CJ Cron is only 3.32, but he has a really nice card right now, way better than Votto. So you always have to be looking for those bargain players.
If a hitter has a good game in real life, his card gets a little better the next day. Pitcher cards (especially relievers) can change very drastically based on one good or bad game. So (unlike ATG8 etc.) you should be making lots of transactions... constantly picking up hot players and getting rid of cold ones.

I see there's a 2019 Baseball Daily League filling up. Since the 2019 season is long over, do the cards just remain static when you are playing years later? Thanks. K

It's impossible to play in a 2019 Daily League. Are you referring to this one?
https://365.strat-o-matic.com/league/439688
It was started late last summer, and didn't fill up in time to play before the MLB season ended. So it's stuck in perpetual limbo until the one team owner removes his team. (Then it will disappear from the list of available leagues.)
If you want to play the Daily game, unfortunately you'll have to wait until the 2020 MLB season starts (which I hope it does!)

Works like a charm! The solution worked for me thanks to the community and the members for the solution.

Is it still an 8-week format like all of the other leagues and what is the salary cap?

Yes. Autoleagues are $100 million, with a 5% drop penalty.
