The two teams heading into the World Series each have the most deluxe starting pitchers in the league. Between the two teams there are: Guidry, Carlton, Gaylord Perry, Sutton, Palmer, JR Richard, and Jim Perry. I'm hoping the Perry brothers will face off which has never happened in an actual World Series.

pushpin76 got a walk off base hit from Oscar Gamble in the bottom of the 10th inning to advance to the finals versus Moodywoody. So the final series features the 2015 champion versus the 2008/2017/2018 champion.

pushpin76 is one win away from the championship after splitting two games last night, highlighted by a complete game 6-hitter by Nino Espinosa (who went 6-9 in the regular season) in Game 4.

Moodywoody stayed alive with a 6-1 win in Game 5, and he now trails 3-2 in the series.

With an 8-4 win in Game 6, Moodywoody has forced a Game 7 on Sunday night. The pitching matchup is Jim Perry (19-13) for Moodywoody versus Steve Carlton (27-9) for pushpin76.
