It looks like we could be paused here for a while. I think it would be good if people would send proxies to Juiced JC or to a player that is drafting behind them. Especially now that we are done with the first 3 rounds, it feels like the picks are less critical. I've been really happy with the players I got in rounds 1-3. If Lynn wasn't available, I'd have picked McCovey. I perused the 70s teams of all the managers in this league and McCovey was probably the most common player that our managers selected (although he was cut in many leagues). I'm surprised that Aaron lasted til the 2nd round and Reggie til late in the 2nd and they went to Moody and hallerose. That Central division is scary. Interesting to see the players that get picked early in this draft. I can't count the number of times I've picked up Steve Rogers midseason, he has four excellent years and a relatively low salary but for some reason he isn't generally popular (maybe not a big name).

To franky's point I'm here if you need me. If you want you can either send proxy picks to me to pick on your behalf when your turn comes, or send me your cell number or email and I'll text/email you when it's your turn.

Thanks for the offer Juiced JC. And thanks for the insights Franky. My first three picks are not typical dominate power hitters , Rose, Carew, and Steve Rodgers... Playing it safe is probably not going to win me anything with this group of GMs.

Even without my phone number you would be unlikely to have to wait for me. However, just in case you may text or call me to get me to pick at any time from say 10:00am - 2:00am.

If it's my turn and you want to text me, just mention the name you use, and that it is my turn to pick. ( 216) 835-0833...... I will probably do some outdoor activities this evening and weekend but I will keep checking in.

I like Reggie and weighed taking him vs. Parker in the 2nd. There's a cap, though, so I took the cheaper, somewhat similar, guy. And Franky thinks the W is weak......

Love getting Reggie in middle of round 2 -- I have him rated as a clear 1st round pick (top 12). With 2 $9M studs I'll be looking for some value. By round 3-4 almost anyone can come off the board. Of course my probable top 4 guys were off the board by the time I picked 5th.
