Tony Gwynn is at .415 heading into the last six games of the season.

He is absolutely dominating the hitting stats with his high BA, amazing 260 hits, #1 in OBP, #3 in SLG and leads the league with 12.2 RC/27.

Yet, despite the hoopla and dominance, he can't even lead the AS RF category, nor is he in the top 5 MVP votes despite all of that AND on a winning team, contending for the division lead! Come on!

I tried to sympathize with you until I saw Darryl's stats. Straw gets my vote and it's not even close.

Well, it's not my team or my guy, so there is zero offense if you want to make a poor vote for Straw yourself. In fact, I am currently getting my clock cleaned by your team in your league (7), but I just thought it was interesting, as the only two guys who were even close to .400 in the other leagues....are also Tony Gwynn, batting over .380 in two other leagues, I think.

That's crazy! League one Tony Gwynn should have been MVP.
