Under Hitter Preferences I’m looking for advice on what settings I should set for my hitters.

Thank you

HAL so rarely employs hit and run that the column in hitter prefs is close to irrelevant.

If your hitter is any good you probably don't want him to bunt (or hit and run).

To Maxpower,

Thanks for your reply. I noticed that you play this game extremely well. Any advice from you would be greatly appreciated.

If a hitter is rated C or worse for bunt, hit & run, or steal*, I set him not to do that. B bunters can go either way (a really good hitter I won't allow). I allow A bunters and B hit&runners to allow.

*I'll allow a C stealer to steal only if there is a poor catcher (i.e., plus-rating for arm) and mediocre pitcher hold ratings.
