When should this be used?

I'm not a big fan of sac bunting (except by pitchers in no-DH leagues). So, here's how I set up every team:
Team Strategy: Conservative Bunting
Hitter Preferences: Set all C and D bunters to don't bunt. If I have a really good hitter who is a B bunter, I might set him also to not bunt. I never choose the bunt more option for a hitter.

I generally set my bunting as coyote does, although I will sometimes set light hitting guys to bunt more.

A little off topic, but does setting bunting to conservative in Team Strategy affect pitchers bunting on non DH teams?

I don't think it affects it much for noDH pitchers bunting--because my 8 hitter card with A bunting always bunted with a runner on 1st.

the key here to me is to make sure you set good hitters to do not bunt. the big mickey mantle card is a B bunter and it's not fun to watch him lay one down on the playback.

He’s rated a “B” eh? I guess Casey had him bunting the days he was really hung over as opposed to just normally hung over
