Best Number 2 hitters ATG

PostTue Jun 09, 2020 1:36 am

Looking for the top #2 hitters in ATG at any position. Just good contact, OBP, no double plays, move runner, hit and run...the usual. Any favorites?

Not to get too cute, but modern lineup theory argues your best hitter should be #2. So Bonds.

Depends what kind of offensive context. Always looking for obp and sock. But when I play power, I don’t care about contact/advancement. Instead, I take all measures to avoid gdp. So yes, the prototypes are Bonds, McGwire, Jimmy Wynn etc.
