Just wanted to clarify something related to waivers, which I have not tried yet because I wasn't sure how it worked.

Can I put 2 waiver claims in for 2 different players, but saying I will release the same player, that way if I don't get the first I can get the second player?

Yes you can put the same player in the release box

As Scumby said you can do it. However, if your pick comes up and you are now missing the to-be-released player (because he got released on your previous pick), you will lose that draft pick--it won't skip to your next pick.

(If the player you are trying to draft gets picked before your turn, then it goes to your next pick no problem.)

IS this true even if you have enough payroll to pick up the player? I thought it didn't matter in the case,

I believe If you have enough payroll to pick up the player your ownership of the player to be released doesn't matter.
