I have been very frustrated by hals closer management in my current season. he almost always doesn't start the 9th with my closer. after the setup allows a runner (almost always) he frequently goes to the specialist instead of the closer. on a number of occasions he has begrudging brought in the closer only to take him out after allowing a hit. I have uttered many names for hal besides hal.

I have found if setup guy is set to slow hook hal will start 9th with him, I agree at times hal won't go to closer until a baserunner very frustrating, but on a big picture I am very bullpen dependent and hal does ok for me as far as bringing guys when I want them

I was not aware of that "can relieve when tired" setting.
Regarding whether relievers can enter in 2 or 3 straight games. I think the rule on the board game and cdrom was 2 but was increased to 3 for the online bullpen V2. Reasoning if I remember right from what I have read is our bullpens are smaller than what is available in real life with no ability to call a guy up to help out if someone is going to be unavailable. Or something along those lines.
