I saw a team with 107 wins. Is that the record? Anyone with more?

I had a 108-54 team. As I mentioned in my first post it didn't go anywhere in the playoffs.

I have had 19 100 win teams:
9 lost in Semi-Finals
6 lost in Finals
4 won Championship
I'd say that's pretty close to 50% of my 100 win teams win the Semis, then close to 50% win the Finals. I think we view our 100 win teams as juggernauts in the regular season, when there are actually many factors which effect and "create" 100 win teams. They may not all be as good as we think they are.

2 teams won 108 games (1 Finals Loser/1 Semis Loser)
2 teams won 106 games (1 Champ/1 Finals Loser)
2 teams won 105 games (1 Champ/ 1 Semis Loser)
3 teams won 102 games (1 Finals Loser/ 2 Semis Loser)
5 teams won 101 games (2 Champs/ 1 Finals Loser/ 2 Semis Losers)
5 won 100 games (2 Finals Losers / 3 Semis Losers)

But, I have also had:
6 85-77 Champions
3 84-78 Champions
2 83-79 Champions
1 82-80 Champion

Someone in ATG once did a study of playoff winners showing that teams winning the league in the regular season not winning the overall championship more often than not was a fallacy. They used a pretty large sample size. I forget the exact numbers but the success rate was more along the lines of Jimmy C's success rate or better. Of course, a certain number of regular season winners will lose due to bad luck and/or bad match ups. However, I feel the poster's pain as your record really is an aberration(a real bad one).
