Garcia's Blog 2/11/16- 2015 set/Fair Play

PostThu Feb 11, 2016 5:16 pm

Hey guys,

Tomorrow is our Opening Day in Glen Head for the 2015 baseball season. Although the 2015 set for Baseball 365 is still a few weeks away, I do have some card images to share! Below are a handful of cards to peruse!

Matt Harvey

Bryce Harper

Joey Votto

Zack Greinke

Kris Bryant

Carlos Correa

Wade Davis

Chris Davis

All of our board and Windows game pre-orders will start shipping Tuesday, February 16th. Of course, Baseball 365 is always playing. While you wait for the 2015 set to be released re-live 2014 one last time or try a new player set such as a Mystery Game.

Besides 2015, I did want to mention the fair play policy as we did have a few problems recently. In the last few months there have been a couple managers who have deliberately dropped all of their players and replaced them with minimum salary guys. Although this is a very rare occurrence, it is extremely disrespectful to deliberately dropped your top players and replace them with minimum salary guys. This ruins the season for those people. That's why Strat-O-Matic has a "Fair Play Policy" built into the game rules which can be seen below.

Fair Play policy

Please be respectful of your league-mates throughout the season so that all may have a pleasant environment in which to play. The following behavior will not be tolerated:

Tanking. You may not intentionally throw games, under any circumstances.

Salary dumping.
You may not jettison talent from your team, hold a "fire sale", or otherwise make wholesale changes to your roster that reduces the overall salary value of your team.

Collusion. You may not conspire with another manager, by making trades or by changing your team settings when playing against that team, to achieve any sort of anti-competitive goal, e.g. to help a team win, or to gang up on another team.

Offensive language. You may not communicate with other managers in a manner that they could find offensive.

If you violate any of the above rules, at our discretion, Strat-O-Matic.com will seize control of your team and you will not be eligible for a refund. Repeat offenses will result in a ban from ever playing the game again.

Again, although this a very rare occurrence we want to make sure that this will not be tolerated and on the occasions that we do become aware of this your team will be transferred to another account. If during the season you find yourself no longer interested in the team, simply let it run it's course rather than ruining the league for everyone else.

That's all I have for today. If you have any questions please e-mail us at 365support@strat-o-matic.com. Talk to everyone next Thursday!

-John
