Hey guys,
Hope everyone is enjoying the start to the baseball playoffs. The first game of the division series is starting now, David Price just threw the first pitch. Most people also saw that we ran a sale each of the last two days, hopefully you took advantage of that.
My main topic today is about filling an open team in a Franchise League that just drafted. The league uses the 2007-14 Player Set with a $100 million salary cap. Here's the link to the league: http://onlinegames.strat-o-matic.com/league/428074.
Here are the league rules:
"Choose a franchise! -- RULES: Home stadium must match the franchise! You may only use player cards for years when they were actually on your franchise. If players are carded for multiple franchises, then the franchise that has the most expensive card for that player has first dibs in the initial draft. After the initial draft you may then try to pick up ANY player that played for your franchise even if they have a higher valued card for a different franchise. Remember that any card you use must be a year when the player was actually on your team. Also, trades between franchises are allowed, but must be announced as a message to the entire league so there is no confusion. Come and play...You can beat the DBacks can't you??"
As the league already drafted, 11 franchises are already taken. I've listed them below:
Toronto
Tampa Bay
Kansas City
Cleveland
Colorado
Boston
Arizona
St. Louis
Chicago (NL)
Detroit
Atlanta
The new owner can choose any of the remaining franchises . Please e-mail us at onlinegamesupport@strat-o-matic.com if you're interested in taking over this team. Opening Day is on Monday 10/12. The first user to let us know they want the team will get it!
