I have been doing SOM C&D since 1967. I have been on and off for a few years now. I have been doing at least 7 games a week for the last 3 years or so.
I have implemented a new system for stealing.
Below is the chart I use for a good lead.
Roll D6. If a hitter has a 10 or lower Run rating he has no chance to seal.
Rating is 11, he needs a 6 to try to steal.
Rating is 12-13, he needs a 5 or 6 to steal.
Rating is 14-15, he needs a 4,5,6 to steal
Rating is 16-17, he needs a 3,4,5,6 to steal
A 1or 2 has no steal chance.
Seems to work out really well otherwise I would be doing very little stealing
