interesting. late seventies/early eighties were some glory days for the sport. here are the hall of fame members that played in 1982.
gwynn, boggs, ripken, sandberg, Henderson, molitor, ozzie, murray, dawson, sutter, eckersly, yount, carter, rice, Winfield, brett, gossage, Schmidt, Blyleven, fisk, fingers, reggie, seaver, carew, carlton, bench, Sutton, ryan, palmer, Jenkins, niekro, perez, morgan, perry, stargell, and yaz.
some of the top players that year didn't make the hall. willie Wilson, cecil cooper, dale murphy (nl mvp), hal mcrae, Fernando, and joaquin andujar were right near the top of the key categories.
I will be all over this set.

I note that SOM is going to be releasing the 1949 season for their Windows game.

I think it would be absolutely fantastic if they did a concurrent release of that season for their Online version. I personally would find that more interesting to compete in than the 1982 season.
