Pre-Card Draft Keeper League is seeing some stunning differences this year, compared to the first season last year. Extrapolating from 99 games out to 162, some of the projections are:

- HR up 36%, from 2542 to 3451
- Runs up 11%, from 8564 to 9493
- Stolen bases down 19%, from 760 to 615
- SLG pct. up from .418 to .464

- Strikeouts up 2%, from 17763 to 18118
- Blown saves up 15%, from 260 to 298
- Complete games down 83%, from 189 to 33
- Shutouts down 96%, from 45 to 2
- WHIP pretty stable, from 1.29 to 1.32
- ERA up from 4.16 to 4.67

Those are some notable shifts in one year!

Also, it's probably irrelevant, but it's odd to see the correlation between SLG pct. and ERA!

I'm outside the mean on everyone of those. Blame my team for inflating the numbers.

I thought my team would be more competitive. This one’s a puzzler...

Ditto...I simply cannot believe Flaherty's numbers so far. He's given up 37 dingers already... makes no sense to me.

Pre-Card Draft Keeper League ended the first season pretty much as projected at game 99. Compared to the first season last year:
HR up 35%, from 2,542 to 3,428
ERA up from 4.16 to 4.65

With the first season entering the playoffs, we would normally be thinking about the supplemental draft at this point, however I wonder if that is still a good idea this year? In theory, the supp. draft is to help a team in season 2, but I think we all use it as a way to get a head start on the next card set.

Perhaps we should wait and hold it if/when MLB gets to the mid-point of however many games they're going to play? Or even cancel the supp. draft altogether for this year? What do you think?

I am open to one now or waiting until some games are played, but do not think we should cancel it all together.

I'm for this option.

I'm good either way, but not canceling the Supp Draft.
