That's actually not allowed in leagues i run. i want there to be as many cuts as possible, by allowing you to promote him after the draft has started, it's one more cut you would have had to make. So it basically means you kept 31 while everyone else kept 30.


The ONLY way I'd even consider it, is if you made a corresponding cut.

If you make an unbalanced trade during the draft (trade two players for one, for example) that would open up the slot for you to promote him. But once the draft starts, that's the only way.
