There’s nothing wrong with the trade, Randal. Managers make trades for their own reasons. You’ve got 4 perennial all stars, and at least 3 hall of famers.

I haven’t checked, but maybe positional needs necessitated it. There are far more egregious trades than this done in these leagues all the time - many by me over the years. This isn’t a Charlie Finley 1970’s A’s deal that Charlie Finley needs to rush in to deem null and void. It’s legit by all accounts.

2022 doesn’t come into play at all because both seasons are over. Based on ‘23 numbers, it ain’t bad. And in ‘24 I’d take Harper over Judge and be fine with it. By October’24 Harper may have a much better stat line than Judge. The beauty of the trades are , you just never know what the future holds.

Just a heads up, I will be away on vacation from this Tuesday, the 5th to a week from Wednesday, the 13th. I will have limited access, but if the cards should drop in my absence, I would hope we will not be starting the draft until the announcement of my return, though I do have a preliminary cut list prepared.

Separately, last year it was launched on Monday. Maybe Monday is the new Thursday.
