I'd like to get going...I received some of said FA picks so if it's not hurting the teams that traded them to me obviously it hurts me! 3 rounds of Supp draft with players WITH MLB experience PRIOR to 2012 would be eligible is my understanding on the Supp draft...so, a guy like Quintin Berry (Detroit) wouldn't be available to pick until 2013 FA draft is my thought process. If I choose not to drop any players, then I wouldn't be picking players in the Supp draft to replace them...correct? Not seeing what the big deal is here with the Supp draft and turning it into a Supp/FA draft. Again though this is my first keeper league so maybe I'm just missing something :?

You are correct that the pool for this draft is the same pool that was eligible for the last spring draft. There are players not eligible to be taken now that will be eligible for the spring draft.

Yes - Anyone with ANY MLB experience prior to the start of the 2012 MLB Season is eligible to be drafted in both the Supplemental and FA drafts. Which is why I am saying that holding this Supplemental draft now, will be like holding the Spring FA draft now...doesn't make much sense, and completely screws anyone who has acquired an early round Spring FA pick

Guys, read that bolded part. It means anyone with Major league experience prior to this season (2012) is up for grabs. As long as he isn't on someone elses roster.

Yeah, you guys are both correct. Quintin Berry = NOT Eligible for the Supp, but Eligible for the Spring. However, anyone that has ANY MLB experience prior to 2012 could be drafted in the Supp...which is why it'd kill the player pool and we are going to do the hybrid.

Dan, check over on the 20xx boards. Zim has said he would take over the team. Zim is a good man so I think our problem is solved.
